Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I moved to Paris, then Mexico before settling in Buenos Aires in 2003, where I taught tango with my porteno partner. I wrote two memoirs, The Church of Tango and Arabesque: Dancing on the Edge in Los Angeles, and soon Intoxicating Tango: My Years in Buenos Aires. I returned to L. A. In 2014.
