After a live in South Africa studying rats and mice and shrews, I moved to France to become a science officer in an international biodiversity organisation. I live (with husband and daughter) in a tiny village on the edge of the Ile-de-France (where Yvelines meets Essone and Eure-et-Loir), and enjoy knitting, baking, cooking and gardening, The house we rent has an amazing variety of fruit trees, which never cease to astonish.
