Jason has always been considered a musician born into the COGIC church he was naturally taken back at a young age by the energetic and mind blowing experience of black/urban church music. At the age of 5 he began to play the drums and discovered the rhythm of black music at the age of 10 he picked up the clarinet and discovers melody at the age of 12 he played saxophone and discovered soul. When Jason Perri Bennett turn 14 his mother Ramona Bingham made the life changing decision to move to california so she could create a better life and environment for him and his twin brother Justin Pierre Bennett she packed all there belongings into a uhaul truck and drove cross country all the way to San Diego california were they settled. It was here Jason was introduced for the first time to his career instrument the BASS GUITAR on it he found his musical ear and style. He has proformed with Gospel legend andre crouch and Carlton pearson he has also performed with Vicky yohee and the twins ( proteges of the legendary prince).
