Simin Wang

Simin is a final-year journalism major at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She began writing as a student journalist since she was 16. She joined Singapore’s leading Chinese newspaper Lianhe Zaobao’s student correspondents’ group and started writing for the paper. From then on, she ventured into other publications, such as omy.sg, Temasek Times, The Nanyang Chronicle, pulse.sg and What’s Up, writing for different age groups in both English and Mandarin. After being news editor for her campus publication The Nanyang Chronicle, she is now working at Agence France-Presse (AFP) Singapore branch as a correspondent.
