The bulk of his current practice is to provide single consultations and second opinion exams for complex neurological, psychiatric, or psychological conditions and for psychopharmacological consults. He also provides expert case review in the fields of neurology and brain injury. As a neurologist and psychoanalyst, he also specializes in cognitive, neuropsychological and psychological testing (for such conditions as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Head Injury, Memory Loss, Overlap Conditions of brain and emotions). He also provides on-going psychotherapy and follow-up neurological care for select patients. DR. WINER DOES NOT CURRENTLY PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS FOR ANY ON-GOING CONDITIONS. In select cases, he will communicate and / or work with your family practitioner, GP, internist, or LMD; psychiatrist; neurologist; or other specialists for on-going care. Dr. Winer performs all services personally. You will never see or speak to a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant.
