My name is Eoin Craven…I’m a gardener from Ireland. Having an interest in gardening (in particular growing food) from my late teens I went on to train as a field ecologist and studied Practical Sustainability and Permaculture in Kinsale, co. Cork, Ireland. I spent the rest of my twenties working freelance and then on community food projects and urban gardens in area of Dublin being regenerated and would spend the winters working as a woodland and coppice worker in the North West of Ireland. It afforded me a pleasant lifestyle of working with the seasons while providing directly for a lot of my needs as well as making a modest living. At the moment I'm doing and internship with an NGO in the hills above Cusco, Peru, in the hopes of getting some international experience and learning more about Andean agriculture.
