I lost my job in mid 2016 and was shattered. For a long time I did not know what to do. I tried so many things but they all failed one after another. Then about November of the same year, I searched for an 'Interner Marketing' product creator on facebook and sent him a friend request. Gladly, he accepted and we became friends. Then I quickly explained my situation to him, telling him I desperately need a system that will help me make money right away. He told me about a revshare program, explaining the risks involved. He offered to mentor me so that I make some money off the program before it finally goes under. I took action immediately and put in my life savings. I was able to make my first real money off the internet. I invested $150 and made $500. That was my breakthrough as far as Making Money Online is concerned. Sadly, the program went under. Needless to say, I lost money on so many similar programs. Once again I became stranded. Deep within me, I know that it is possible to make a full-time income from the internet, but nothing was working for me. I fell for one scam after another. I bought courses after courses and so many useless softwares. Then one day I thought to myself: "Why not put your skill into use?" I am an avid reader, and also love writing, so I started earning money online as a freelance writer. Writing isn't always easy. It involves a lot of hard work and sometimes the pay isn't worth the effort. That was sometime in 2017. Up until this moment, I haven't returned to a regular 9- 5 job. I have virtually been living as a freelance writer. Then it hit me: The SEO articles and blog posts I write is helping someone else build their online business, why not build your own too? Hence when I found out about Wealthy Affiliate, I jumped right in, because it is easily the best opportunity that will help me build my online business. I am happy to be among this community of supportive individuals. Hopefully, I will learn a lot from the community as well as the awesome training and tools available.
