I am a graduate of Paul Quinn College (Dallas, TX) and Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN). I have taken doctoral level classes at Western Seminary (Portland, OR) and a 2020 graduate (DMIN in Global Leadership) of Bethel Seminary. My doctoral work was exploring diversity and reconciliation and the subsequent unity that should result. I have worked for and with churches as well as non-profit and government organizations in Texas, Oklahoma and Minnesota for more than 20 years; providing training, oversight and management for effective and long-term sustainability. Some of the organizations I have worked for or with are: Greater Dallas Community of Churches, Community Council of Greater Dallas, United Way of Dallas and United Way of Garfield County- OK, Junior League of Dallas and Junior League of St. Paul - MN, Southeast Dallas Emergency Aid Center, Bethel University Foundation, Airline Ambassadors International, St. Paul Mosaic Church, St. Paul Interfaith Network, Metropolitan Interfaith Coalition on Affordable Housing, African American Read In, and currently, the Inclusive Communities Project in Dallas.
