I’m Joseph Qinumuzi Mahono — born in 1987 at Sebokeng Hospital, raised in the heart of the Vaal. I’m a self-taught writer with a passion for township stories, kasi food, hidden truths, and unforgettable characters. From general worker to storyteller, my journey has always been about survival, hustle, and pride in where I come from. Every book I write, from The Last Watchman to Jonny: The Best Cooker of South Africa, is inspired by the streets, voices, and dreams of my people.
