My name is Jeff Metz and I reside in the scenic appalachian mountains near Frostburg, Maryland with my wife and two children. I started this blog as an outlet to express my opinions regarding an array of topics that interest me including sports, coaching, outdoors, employment issues and politics. My education includes an Master's Degree in Business and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Frostburg State University. I operate and am partial owner of a local long term care facility. I spend the majority of my "spare" time coaching basketball and soccer. Some would say I am literally addicted to the sport of basketball. My son plays AAU basketball for an outfit out of Morgantown, WV. I am involved in coaching basketball at Mountain Ridge High School as well. My daughter is an excellent soccer player and I do everything I can to support that passion. I have diverse experiences running my company with a wealth of information to share. I also tend to be overly passionate about our country and the political process. I would characterize myself as a right leaning political moderate who is thoroughly disappointed with the overall political process and state of our nation. So there you have it. In a few words, you know a little about me. I will write things that I hope are entertaining but the primary purpose is to vent some emotions with the hope that some other folks will participate, challenge, and debate some of my ideas.
