I am a single parent who has raised an amazing gender fluid child into a successful adult. I also live with mental illness (Bipolar II) and get to ride the roller coaster of life that comes with it. I'm an avid volunteer for all things creative and I tend to be a bit of a rabid Momma Bear when somebody hurts the people I care about. And, despite a rough start to life, I'm still going strong. I live in a province in which I was not born, and I have literally flown from coast to coast. I moved here in 2007 and I firmly believe I have found my true home because this is where I finally feel free enough to live my life authentically.
