Martin Rees

Martin is the Owner of Auckland Plastic Surgical Centre, a facility providing a comprehensive range of expert cosmetic procedures and treatments. Earning dual Bachelors Degrees in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Otago, Martin continued to employ his profound knowledge as he trained under Sir William Manchester at Middlemore Hospital. Developing specialty techniques in cleft, cranio-facial, head and neck surgery and microvascular free scalp reconstructive surgery, Martin developed an unwavering reputation that led to his co-founding of the Cranio Facial Clinic at Middlemore Hospital. Highly regarded for his pioneering work in treating previously irreversible conditions, Martin went on to launch his private practice in 1996, encompassing his full spectrum of talents in cosmetic facial, abdominal and breast surgeries, liposculpture, skin cancer, cleft lip and palate, cranio maxilla facial, microvascular and hand surgery in one facility. Paralleling his practice with his charitable efforts, Martin annually commits to voluntary surgical missions, providing free reconstructive treatment to needy children with facial clefts, burns and hand abnormalities.
