I AM an artist, married more than a few decades to The World’s Nicest Man, the mother of two remarkable adult children and grandmother of five small ones, more cat than dog person, reputed to be a purty durn good cook and occasional fairy godmother, a music lover and supporter, empathetic, often impatient, the first-born in a family of five (well, seven if you count our folks, but that just messes with the alliteration), and an IFPN; I LIKE kind people, sashimi, humor that makes no sense, cool weather unless I’m on a beach, good books (including the odd trashy novel), conversation with people whose company I enjoy, live music by unknown kick-ass artists, the chance to snorkel or kayak once in a while, milk chocolate, red wine and vodka tonics (not necessarily at the same time), baroque period oils, laughing, and the sense of accomplishment derived from a job well done.
