With over 35+ years experience working in the Public Sector, I am passionate to build strong relationships and engagements with Private and Public Sector supportive organisations. I have extensive knowledge and experience of complex IT and business integrated environments which is fully supported by my leadership experience, education and professional qualifications. I am valued for my openness, honesty, analytical skills, and ability to make ideas and concepts work in practice. I am recognised for my professional experience in strategy development and implementation across business and IT environments - demonstrated by the significant contributions made in delivering business driven projects in both UK and Australian Government organisations. Currently working on secondment with the University of Canberra in the Faculty of Science & Technology to Research the Capability & Skills Gaps for the Future Workforce in Australia and to build course content for new and advancing technologies in both Graduate and Post Graduate courses. Lecturing, tutoring & mentoring students across Government Agencies in collaboration with Digital Transformation Agency (dta), Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) and as a recognised STEM Professional with the CSIRO STEM Professionals Program. Passionate & enthusiastic to share knowledge and experience with the emerging future workforce, working with academics, students and teachers to give back to the community and to help build a stronger partnership across Higher Education & Government.
