There is a huge difference between blogging and journalism. There are rigid rules in journalism including code of ethics that one must follow. Not that these rules are not practiced when blogging. Blogging, per se, is freer because there is no "regulating body" that you're subjected to. In journalism, you carry the name and reputation of the whole publication or institution, and whatever published material you have reflects that of the institution's name. I practice both. However, in this blog, I have less restrictions and inhibitions as you can read well in many of my posts. In my posts, one will also notice the changes and developments in my [style of] writing. Some are light and maybe, amusing some serious and personal while some are indirect, vague and shaded. But all are product of my thoughts and emotions, unstable as they are, as most of us are. I started this blog back in college so some of my articles give hints of my state of maturity then and now. They actually reflect in my style and grammar. I stopped editing and rehashing them because I regard them as a yardstick and proof of development, maybe of maturity. Just a reminder though, this blog does not reflect the entirety of my being, of my stands and beliefs as well as my perception on everything. These are just mere products of a 'current' state of being and as well all know, it changes. In my case, the change is frequent.
