I find ideas for my novels, blog, and art by exploring life's details—as I've done in The Dust Series. My historical novel, UNSPOKEN (coming July 2025), and the next novel in the series, VACANCY (coming soon) are book club fiction, with universal themes ripe for discussion. For my blog on creativity, Pairings, I pair all things creative: books, art, writing, reviews, photography, history, travel in Texas and beyond, and I sometimes indulge in time travel. My photography focus is the scenic gumbo of Vanishing Austin and the many other thematic photography collections I've created.
