Jake Witmer

I was born in Champagne-Urbana on August 01, 1976 at Carle Clinic. I did not fit in well in grade school. I gradually became a libertarian anarcho-capitalist voluntaryist. I closely agree with Lysander Spooner, Ayn Rand, Jacob Sullum, and John Stossel in the political and philosophical realms, and Kevin Kelly, Juan Enriquez, Eric Drexler, Robert Freitas, and Ray Kurzweil in the technological and philosophical realm. As Kevin Kelly mentions in his book "Out of Control": "A system is anything that talks to itself." This is actually a profound statement about decentralization, diversification, and feedback. Anything smart enough to talk to itself is smart enough to self-correct, to seek an equilibrium of power. So I favor a decentralized political system, because such a system is robust, equitable, and benevolent.
