Victoria Mavis

Victoria Mavis is the President/CEO of Core People Resources, LLC with over 20 years of Human Resource experience in industries such as: hospitality, local government, manufacturing, medical services, non-profits, and retail. Victoria holds a Master’s of Business Administration and is lifetime certified by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is a national speaker, business writer, and is authoring her first book, “The Couch and the Hairball”, which is focused on developing and using select communication skills for powerful conversations leading to greater levels of professional performance and personal satisfaction. As an individual who has had a physical disability since early childhood, Victoria sprinkles her experiences of overcoming her disability in her book, her speaking engagements and other activities in a way that motivates others to get beyond whatever limits their lives so they are empowered to live each day fully, regardless of life’s circumstances. Victoria is an active member of various business, professional, and community organizations, including chambers of commerce, Rotary International, and BNI.
