Chicagoland

In the weary Autumn winding wind there is a fellow a cuttin' and a screwin'..............furniture, listening to endless hours of NPR so he knows the time. Tables a plenty and tall ceiling scraping bookcases litter my mother's hacienda ready for delivery. I've been designing and building furniture since late summer 2005 and have been selling pieces since May 2009. My work has a simple goal, and that is to keep the design paramount. The first year my work was embedded with a mid-century gene. As naive as it may be I want to push beyond 20th century notions of modernism and aesthetics. We are almost twelve years into the 21st, and it seems that the collective western culture is content with borrowing the best of the past, though it is never as good as when the past was present.
