forest dweller

I'm Jim. I chose the title, forest dweller. because I read that in some traditions that is what you call one who is finding their way in the third stage of life. That's where I am on life's journey, retired, seeking God, trying to remember where the maps are for this stage. That's also where I am literally, in the mountains of NC, with the trees, ancient stones, bears, and crows. Biographically, I served as a United Methodist minister in the South Carolina Annual Conference for 32 years. Now retired, my wife Kathryn and I hang out with family, ponder stuff with good friends, and serve as personal assistants for Fisher and Lulu, our two dogs.
