Retired photojournalist. Trained as combat-aerial photographer for Vietnam War, Sergeant, USAF, five years service. Attended University of Colorado and graduated from Brigham Young University, B.A. in photojournalism. In 25 year career received over 75 state, regional, & national awards in photojournalism. Staff photographer at four Utah newspapers, and freelanced for Associated Press. Adjunct-Professor at local university for 9 years teaching photojournalism. Married with three grown children. Personal interests in Celtic history & culture, playing bagpipes, researching family history, chivalry, Templars, and member of O'Brien Clan & Clan Strachan.
