DeAnne Spicer Todd

DeAnne began her career as a professional dancer as Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland and concluded it as a headless Marie Antoinette at the Los Angeles Opera. She was a Lamaze Instructor and Doula working with incarcerated pregnant women and served as President of Doulas Association on Southern California. DeAnne worked as a Union Representative for American Guild of Variety Artist and was Treasurer of Hollywood Helps- a consortium of entertainment unions raising funds for people living with AIDS. DeAnne has worked on several political campaigns and is now working with Field Team 6 to register voters in California, Arizona and Nevada. She has a blog DeAnne Writes and won the Erma Bombeck Comedy Essay competition in 2020 judged by Bill Bryson. DeAnne is currently a passionate Red Cross volunteer as a writer, EMT, and speaker. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband writer/producer Donald Todd and usually at least one or two of their adult children.
