J 101 BA Communication Research Favorite Book/Novel: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I like it because it captures the life of a fangirl and a fanfiction writer trying to focus on an English major. It was a path I've considered before and I found myself relating to Cath's way of handling her first year of college. Favorite Film: Howl's Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki. I like it because it did not follow the common fairy tale tropes. The Witch ended up as an ally, the Knight in Shining Armor had villanous moments and the Power of Love did not really break the curse. Favorite Media Practitioner: Wil Dasovich, a Youtube vlogger. I like Wil because he's always so enthusiastic at what he does and he jumps into new things without the fear of the results. Favorite Song: Sweather Weather by the Neighborhood. I like this song because it gives of the vibe of what I consider to be a perfect day--rainy, relaxed with a book and without a care for anything else. Favorite Internet Site: tumblr. It's an online sharing platform for artists, writers, advocates, photographers and many more. Favorite Meal: Spaghetti. My aunt always cooks spaghetti on special occassions like birthdays, holidays and celebrations for success. Spaghetti reminds me of home, family and just being together. Hobbies: writing poetry and prose, reading novels, watching anime, attending anime conventions
